Most Secom Internet customers will not need to set their DNS servers manually unless you have requested a static IP address. If you have a static IP address you will need to set at least one DNS server manually in order to access the internet.
SECOM provides two DNS servers that you may use:
208.123.128.36 2605:2b80::1:0 |
(RDNS1.SECOM.NET) (IPv6 version) |
208.123.128.37 2605:2b80::1:1 |
(RDNS2.SECOM.NET) (IPv6 version) |
As an alternative for testing or other purposes, Google also provides public DNS as a free service — use 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for Google’s DNS.
